A Generation Desperate For Revival
Throughout history,
God has moved powerfully to awaken His people through mighty outpourings of the Holy Spirit, known as revivals.
These supernatural visitations bring deep repentance, renewed passion for Jesus, and miraculous signs and wonders.
Revivals break out when believers hunger for more of God's presence, stirring hearts to seek Him in prayer, fasting, and worship.
They ignite fresh fire in the church, bringing salvation to the lost and transforming entire communities through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The 18th Century saw the First Great Awakening.
The Holy Spirit stirred men like Jonathan Edwards, George Whitefield, and John Wesley
to preach with fiery conviction, calling people to personal encounters with Christ.
This awakening shattered religious formalism and released a fresh move of God,
where multitudes experienced deep conviction, radical conversions, and renewed intimacy with the Lord.
The 19th Century saw the Second Great Awakening.
Open-air revival meetings were filled with passionate worship, weeping over sin, and encounters with God's power.
Leaders like Charles Finney boldly proclaimed that revival was not just something to wait for
but could be ushered in through fervent prayer and obedience.
The 20th century saw a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit through the Azusa Street Revival (1906–1915),
where God used William Seymour to usher in a new Pentecostal movement.
As people gathered in hunger for God, the Holy Spirit fell with power—
manifesting in speaking in tongues, healings, and supernatural encounters.
Other great moves of God, like the Welsh Revival (1904–1905) and the Jesus Movement of the 1960s and 70s,
revealed God’s heart to continually awaken His people to the fullness of His presence.
Revival history shows that when God's people humble themselves and cry out for more,
He answers with His glory.
It has been 50 years since the last great move of God, it is high time for another one.
We don’t just want to know stories of revival, we want to see it with our own eyes.
We know that there is more, and we’re desperate for it.
Join us in Denver this summer as many gather to cry out for revival in this generation.
